Rameshwaram- Abode of Lord of Rama!

This Lingam built by Sita is believed to remain in the sanctum of the temple. But there are several other versions on the origination of this temple and one such is that; Lord Rama himself installed the Lingam before constructing the bridge to Lanka. Further, there is an Agnitheertham outside the temple complex that is recognized as one of the 64 sacred baths in Rameshwaram.
