Bhandardara- A Holiday Resort Village!

1. Wilson Dam-
Built in the year 1910 across the River Pravara, this dam is situated at an altitude of 150m above the sea level. Being, one of the oldest dams in the country, there is a sluice gate that opens to a cascade flowing down hitting the rock making it 80 feet long and spectacular. There is a circular dam located at its base where tourists can take a stroll.
2. Arthur Lake-
Surrounded by thick canopied forests of the Sahyadri Hills, Arthur Lake is one of the placid and clear lakes of the nation that gets the water from the river Pravara and the entire view of this spot is just spectacular. Further, the most enchanting of this place is the 50km loop road that encircles the lake giving access to mesmerizing views, campsites, and hiking trails around the lake.
3. Mount Kalsubai-
Being the highest peak in the Sahyadri Range of Maharashtra, Mount Kalsubai is very famous for trekking as this peak is recognized for its height and to trek to this place requires a lot of effort and physical strength.
