The excavations revealed that the tunnel had two branches which led past the famous Laad Bazaar, Puranapul Darwaza, Toli Masjid and Langar Houze to the Gosha Mahal near Charminar. Efforts were taken to clear the tunnel but the laborers found that the tunnel has been collapsed due to non- usage of it for a very long time.
